"THEY HAD SOME DREAMS".....( What to Learn from Chapel Hill shooting?? )

They had some dreams; they wanted to lead a life filled with love and success. In fact they deserved to lead a blessed life with their family, friends and acquaintances. They were well educated citizens of a country which is seen as the most advanced nation on this planet.

Yes I am talking about the three Muslim students Deah, Yusor and Razan, who were shot point blank in Chapel Hills North Carolina.

The victims shot dead on Wednesday 10th February,2015 were identified as Mr.Deah shady Barakat, 23, his wife, Yusor Mohammad, 21, of Chapel Hill, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, of Raleigh.
The couple was married just a month ago when they met such a deplorable fate. They were young university students of Arab descent. They were not criminals nor were they terrorists of any sort. They were US citizens having born and bred in the United States.
The striking thing about this sad incident which is rather more condemnable is that of the reason for killing of the innocent students.
The 46 year old man Craig Stephen Hicks who is responsible for this brutal killing is said to be an atheist. This man killed three innocent human beings only because they were Muslims.

They (the victims) followed Islam, the religion which is followed by about 1.6 billion people around the world. Can anybody think of eliminating 1.6 billion human beings from this planet?? It totally seems frantic and lunatic.

So  let’s calm ourselves as human beings and conclude that whatever bad occurs in any part of the world in form of crime, brutal killing, mass destruction, extortion, bombing and human rights violation cannot and  can never be associated with any religion in particular. All religions of the world preach love, peace and in short goodness.

In a world today where terror and terrorism is more associated with Muslims, I being one of them am not triumphant over an atheist killing Muslims, but rather deeply saddened over these barbaric incidents happening frequently all over.

My message to the world is that, a terrorist can be Muslim but all Muslims can’t be Terrorists. Likewise an atheist, a Christian, a Jew, a Hindu, a Buddhist can be a killer but not all followers of these religions can be killers.
